Didn't want to wake up this morning.
The water out of the tap doesn't look particularly drinkable, very cloudy. We are having a picnic lunch today so I've made some pita bread sandwiches from breakfast left-overs. Told you I was getting short of money ! Also getting fed up with pita bread - it's obviously the staple diet over here. Pita bread for breakfast, lunch and dinner - can't wait to get home and have cereal and toast !
The Church of the Annunciation is the largest church in the middle east, second in the world - it's big, impressive and very beautiful.
Heard that a child was shot dead and thirty two Palestinians injured yesterday in demonstrations yesterday.
Off to Galilee. Took a boat ride from Capernaum to Tiberias. Saw ST Peter's house and the synagogue next door. Stephen's arms got burnt today out on the boat. It hasn't been any hotter today, but hardly any breeze.
Lots of dead fish on the surface of the Sea of Galilee. Apparently a fishing boat turned over and lost their catch. Lots of people windsurfing and out in their boats.
Had lunch at the spot where Jesus gave his disciples the great commission - allegedly !
