Going home today. Get to see my wife.
Went into Nazareth to get lunch. A pita bread sandwich with some chicken and a can of coke will set you back about 30 shekels (6 shekels to the Pound). I bought two small loaves, four cheese triangles and two little containers of jam for 6 shekels.
Drove off to Caesarea Phillipi, the most expensive place in Israel. Right by the mediterranean is an aqueduct, very impressive bit of Roman engineering.
Had lunch at a factory shop selling glass and other tourist trinkets. Got three pictures left to use up and there is nothing worth photographing ! Don't think I want a picture of the powerstation behind us.
At the airport, took ages to get through the customs. We were given a sanitised version of our itinerary in case we were asked where we had been. Soon through that and had to wait about an hour in the airport lounge.
Once on the plane we had a delay before we had a slot available. All the videoscreens working this time - maybe next time.
Home late but it was great seeing my wife. Holidays are nice but it's even nicer to come home.
