Might be trouble today as this is a "Day of Anger" for Palestinians. A number of Arab shops are shut. The Police and Army are out in force in the streets of Jerusalem. We hope that there is not any trouble.
Arabs in East Jerusalem - lots of police and soldiers here on "Day of Anger".
Left Bethlehem today for Nazareth.
Visited Open House at Ramle, which is a nursery in a Jewish home (was a Palestinian home before the war) run by a Jewish couple and an Arab Christian.
Drove to Nazareth via Tel Aviv and got caught in the rush hour traffic - just like being back home !
Another concert from Garth, him, his guitar and harmonica with Fred holding the microphone - great stuff !
Excellent view from the balcony over Nazareth. Nazareth is such a sprawl of buildings, and to think that the Church of the Annunciation covers the area that would have been populated in Jesus' time.
Our room has an en-suite bathroom, as you would expect. Only problem is that the extractor fan blows straight into the room, and it's noisy. There's probably some Arab logic there ! Our room is also right next to the bar in the courtyard. They like to play the music loud; wouldn't mind so much if it was something I liked !
